The Riverside Youth Council volunteers to aid the Riverside African American Historical Society (RAAHS) in running the annual Riverside Martin Luther King Jr. Day Walk-A-Thon. Among the duties fulfilled by the Riverside Youth Council are running booths set up at the end of the walk, operating sign-in and registration desks, and distributing water bottles along the walking route.
